When Gwenn contacted me by email to inquire if it was possible to create a wedding ring design that incorporated her unique drawing of a Unicorn & Turtle, we knew that this could be a very interesting project. The next step was to set up an appointment for her and her fiancé "Turtle" to come to the studio to discuss different options for wedding band designs and to also see her drawing in person.

After the consultation, Dejan started to create detailed 3D drawings to send to Gwenn & Turtle. Gwenn & Turtle gave their input on the drawings, then Dejan slightly adjusted the design to their desired specifications.

Next, we created prototypes in sterling silver of their ring design to see how everything would fit together in metal and look on the hand. The 3D models turned out great! Upon client approval, Dejan began creating the rings in white gold.

Turtle & Gwenn wanted to have a textured background to make the design stand out more and also to add some raw uncut diamonds (& some brilliant-cut diamonds for her) around the Unicorn & Turtle. The end result was just stunning!

The intricate detail of these rings were a bit challenging, but the steps taken throughout the process ensured that everything would work out nicely for the final rings. We love working with clients who provide their own artistic vision to give their commission jewelry a more personal meaning.
