Dejan went on to train as a sculptor at Belgrade University School of Applied Arts in Serbia where he focused on the challenges of creating large-scale sculptures and graduated top of his class with honors. He later graduated with his MFA in metal design from East Carolina University School of Art and Design in North Carolina.
